I collaborated with ALL DAY GOODS to help them design and produce accessories for their Chef’s Knives business. The emphasis was on reusing fabrics already widely used in the catering industry harmony with the philosophy of their brand, as the handles of the knives are made from recycled post-consumer plastic. We started with deconstructed chef’s trousers and aprons, and also used dead stock fabrics from RAF uniforms and furniture deck chair fabrics. The design emphasis was about simplicity, practicality and durability.
