National Maritime Museum

For the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, I created costumes and accessories for children’s galleries, for ages up to 12. I focused on careful historical research to match each costume to the clothing styles of the times, boosting the learning experience. I selected fabrics that are both beautiful and strong, ensuring historical accuracy while maintaining durability. These materials not only reflect authentic textures and patterns but also withstand frequent use and are washable. This careful balance between historical fidelity and practical quality helps the costumes remain visually appealing and robust, making role-play engaging and believable for children.
